Hồng Việt Dũng

Họa sĩ Hồng Việt Dũng, một nghệ sĩ hiện thực với sự kết hợp tinh tế giữa kỹ thuật và phong cách biểu hiện, Hồng Việt Dũng nổi tiếng không chỉ là một họa sĩ cá nhân mà còn là thành viên đáng chú ý của nhóm Gang Of Five - một nhóm nghệ sĩ đầu tiên và tiên phong trong nghệ thuật Việt Nam thời kỳ Đổi Mới. Sinh năm 1962 và tốt nghiệp từ Trường Đại học Mỹ Thuật Việt Nam vào năm 1984, Hồng Việt Dũng không đi theo dòng chảy của nghệ thuật hiện đại như nhiều đồng nghiệp khác, mà ngược lại, anh ta chọn lựa một lối vẽ hiện thực mộng mơ.

Phong cách hội hoạ của Hồng Việt Dũng tràn ngập không khí lãng mạn cổ điển, sôi động với tinh tế đặc trưng của văn hóa phương Đông. Trong các tác phẩm của mình, anh thường thể hiện các hình ảnh như cô gái thắt bím tóc, cậu bé cầm lồng chim, nhà sư, con thuyền lảng lơ, con đường xa xăm, và cánh đồng tịch liêu... Đặc biệt, Hồng Việt Dũng tập trung vào việc tái tạo tính toàn thể giản đơn của cảnh vật, biểu hiện sự hòa quyện của không khí và nước, làm cho mọi hình thể trong bức tranh tan chảy mềm mại.

Quá trình sáng tác của Hồng Việt Dũng không trở thành một cuộc biến đổi đột ngột; thay vào đó, như một nghệ sĩ không chú trọng quá nhiều vào sự tham vọng, anh ta liên tục khám phá và làm sâu sắc hơn vào phong cách riêng của mình. Hình ảnh ngày càng trở nên mờ nhạt và giản đơn, đồng thời, Dũng duy trì sự tinh tế trong sự đơn giản đó.

Làm việc như một họa sĩ tự do, Hồng Việt Dũng đã tổ chức nhiều triển lãm cá nhân và tham gia các triển lãm nhóm không chỉ tại Việt Nam mà còn ở các quốc gia khác như Hồng Kông, Singapore, Thuỵ Sĩ, Nhật Bản, Mỹ... Tất cả những hoạt động này là một phần của quá trình sáng tạo và khám phá nghệ thuật của ông.

Hong Viet Dung has released pieces of his memory on the works to create amazing virtual landscape imbued with an oriental romantic and classic atmosphere. Said by the artistic critic Phan Cam Thuong “Hong Viet Dung has always paid attention to the simple entire of a landscape, presenting the air and steam which dissolve all the shapes. His technique has not been much changed but deeper and deeper.” Hong Viet Dung (1962) is one of scarce artists pursuing the style of Reality and Manifestation in the contemporary art of Vietnam. He is a member of the Gang of Five, the group of leading artists of Vietnam in Doi Moi time besides other one such as Dang Xuan Hoa, Ha Tri Hieu, Tran Luong, and Pham Quang Vinh. Many of Dung works have been introduced in exhibitions and artistic event in Singapore, France, Hong Kong, the US, Australia, Malaysia, Belgium, or Thailand or included in the collections in Singapore, the US, and Vietnam.
